Description

Delicious and healthier Turkey Meatball Subs, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Sub rolls
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs for about 25 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Heat the marinara sauce in a pot over medium heat.
  6. Combine the baked meatballs with marinara sauce and gently stir.
  7. Assemble the meatballs in sub rolls, topped with shredded mozzarella cheese.
