- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper; sauté until softened.
- Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Add kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth; stir well.
- Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and let it cook for about 30 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.
