Description

A refreshing and creamy tuna pasta salad filled with vibrant flavors, perfect for picnics, lunches, or light dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (like fusilli or rotini)
  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup peas (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions; drain and cool. Rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process and avoid mushy pasta.
  2. Mix together the tuna, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, peas (if using), and lemon juice in a large bowl.
  3. Add the cooled pasta to the mixture and stir until combined.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize with additional vegetables or dressings. This salad can be made a day in advance.
