- 8 oz pasta (like fusilli or rotini)
- 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup peas (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions; drain and cool. Rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process and avoid mushy pasta.
- Mix together the tuna, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, peas (if using), and lemon juice in a large bowl.
- Add the cooled pasta to the mixture and stir until combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
