Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 4 taco shells
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup lettuce, chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
- Form ground beef into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- Place them onto the hot skillet and smash them down with a spatula. Season each patty with salt and pepper.
- Cook until beautifully browned on one side, about 3-4 minutes, then flip.
- Heat the taco shells in the oven or microwave until warm and slightly crispy.
- Remove cooked burgers and place them into the warmed taco shells.
- Top the beef with shredded cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions, and pickles.
- Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the top.
- Serve immediately with a side of chips or salad.
Notes
For added flavor, experiment with different spices or toppings like guacamole and jalapeños.
