Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 4 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form ground beef into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  3. Place them onto the hot skillet and smash them down with a spatula. Season each patty with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook until beautifully browned on one side, about 3-4 minutes, then flip.
  5. Heat the taco shells in the oven or microwave until warm and slightly crispy.
  6. Remove cooked burgers and place them into the warmed taco shells.
  7. Top the beef with shredded cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions, and pickles.
  8. Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the top.
  9. Serve immediately with a side of chips or salad.

Notes

For added flavor, experiment with different spices or toppings like guacamole and jalapeños.
