Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Combine the beef chuck roast, chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme in the slow cooker. Stir to mix well.
  2. Set the slow cooker to low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
  3. Shred the beef using two forks and return it to the slow cooker to soak in the sauce.
  4. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  5. Garnish the beef mixture over the cooked egg noodles with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider browning the beef before adding it to the slow cooker. You can also customize with vegetables or alternative serving options.
