- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine ground beef, sausage, chopped bell peppers, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread marinara sauce on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For best results, don’t overmix the ingredients and consider using fresh vegetables and herbs.
