Description

A delicious combination of classic Philly cheese steak flavors and sloppy joes, making for a quick and easy meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 small green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add a little olive oil and sauté the onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms until soft.
  2. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Stir in ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Divide the meat mixture among the hamburger buns, top with provolone cheese, and cover.
