Description

Juicy, marinated chicken kabobs bursting with flavor and grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ground saffron
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)
  • Vegetables for grilling (bell peppers, onions, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Combine the grated onion, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, ground saffron, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the cubed chicken to the marinade, ensuring every piece is generously coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for deeper flavor).
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewer, alternating with colorful pieces of bell peppers and onions.
  5. Place the kabobs on the grill, cooking for about 10-15 minutes. Turn occasionally until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Serve hot, alongside rice or warm bread and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
