Description

A delightful combination of lasagna and chicken, this dish features tender chicken breasts stuffed with creamy ricotta and gooey mozzarella, all topped with rich marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well blended.
  3. Prepare the chicken by carefully cutting a pocket into each breast.
  4. Stuff the cheesy filling into each chicken pocket.
  5. Sear the stuffed chicken breasts in a skillet with olive oil until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and cover generously with marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. Rest the chicken for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sautéed spinach or mushrooms to the cheese mixture. Use quality ingredients for the best taste.
