- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well blended.
- Prepare the chicken by carefully cutting a pocket into each breast.
- Stuff the cheesy filling into each chicken pocket.
- Sear the stuffed chicken breasts in a skillet with olive oil until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and cover generously with marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Rest the chicken for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
