Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Cooked rice, for serving
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Brown the beef, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Add the garlic, ginger, and green onions, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Mix in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil.
  5. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
  6. Serve over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
