- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 4 sub rolls
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- With your hands, form the mixture into meatballs of even size, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the meatballs until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the marinara sauce to the skillet with the meatballs and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Place sub rolls on a baking sheet, fill each with meatballs and sauce, and generously top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
