- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup raisins or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix together the rolled oats, mashed banana, and applesauce in a large bowl.
- Stir in the whole wheat flour, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt until a dough forms.
- Fold in the raisins or chocolate chips if using.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a lined baking sheet, flattening them slightly.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
