Description

A delightful twist on classic meatballs featuring ground turkey, fresh apple, and aromatic spices for a heartwarming autumn dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/4 cup grated apple
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the ground turkey, apple cider, grated apple, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and thyme in a large bowl.
  3. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat. Form into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with a dipping sauce of your choice.

Notes

These meatballs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and freeze well for about 2 months.
