Description

A convenient and flavorful twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, perfect for meal prepping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add sliced onion and bell pepper, sautéing until soft.
  3. Push veggies to the side of the skillet and fold in ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook until beef is well browned, then mix with veggies.
  5. Remove from heat and portion into meal prep containers.
  6. Top each portion with a slice of provolone cheese.
  7. Serve with hoagie rolls on the side for filling.

Notes

Refrigerate for up to 4 days or freeze beef mixture for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or stove.
