A convenient and flavorful twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, perfect for meal prepping.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add sliced onion and bell pepper, sautéing until soft.
- Push veggies to the side of the skillet and fold in ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Cook until beef is well browned, then mix with veggies.
- Remove from heat and portion into meal prep containers.
- Top each portion with a slice of provolone cheese.
- Serve with hoagie rolls on the side for filling.
Notes
Refrigerate for up to 4 days or freeze beef mixture for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or stove.
