Description

A delightful and simple side dish featuring roasted broccoli infused with garlic and topped with Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the florets on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast the broccoli for about 15-20 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
  5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and optional red pepper flakes on top.
  6. Melt the cheese back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add lemon zest or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving. Red pepper flakes add delightful heat, but can be omitted for a milder dish.
