- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the florets on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast the broccoli for about 15-20 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and optional red pepper flakes on top.
- Melt the cheese back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, add lemon zest or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving. Red pepper flakes add delightful heat, but can be omitted for a milder dish.
