Description

Warm, gooey Burrata cheese coated in a crispy breadcrumb crust served with a zesty, spicy sauce.

Ingredients

  • Burrata cheese
  • Flour
  • Eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Oil (for frying)
  • Tomato sauce
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Breading Station: Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
  2. Bread the Burrata: Coat each Burrata cheese ball in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat the Oil for Frying: Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat for frying.
  4. Fry the Burrata: Fry the breaded Burrata until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  5. Prepare the Spicy Sauce: In a separate saucepan, combine tomato sauce, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper; simmer until well combined.
  6. Final Assembly: Serve the fried Burrata with the spicy sauce drizzled on top, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

Pairs beautifully with a crisp arugula salad or crusty artisan bread. Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for up to 2 days in an airtight container.
