Description

A delightful stuffed spaghetti squash filled with savory ground turkey, marinara sauce, and topped with melted cheese—a comforting dish perfect for cooler months.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium spaghetti squash
  • 1 cup cooked ground turkey or beef
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. Drizzle the insides with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the squash cut-side down on a baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes.
  2. Heat the cooked ground turkey or beef in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the marinara sauce and let it bubble gently.
  3. Remove the squash from the oven, scrape out the strands, and mix them with the meat sauce.
  4. Generously fill each half of the spaghetti squash with the mixture, then sprinkle the tops with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Return the stuffed squash to the oven for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh basil and serve warm.
