Description

Delicious and quick breakfast sandwiches featuring flaky croissants, creamy cheese, savory meat, and eggs cooked to your liking. Perfect for busy mornings or lazy weekends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 croissants
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon or ham
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter (for cooking eggs)
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Split each croissant in half.
  3. In a skillet, melt a bit of butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your preferred style (scrambled, fried, etc.). Season with salt and pepper.
  4. On the bottom half of each croissant, place a slice of cheese, followed by bacon or ham, and then the cooked egg.
  5. Top with any fresh herbs if desired, and place the other half of the croissant on top.
  6. Place the sandwiches in the oven for about 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are warmed through.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh croissants for the best texture. Experiment with different cheeses and meats to customize your sandwich.
