- 8 oz spaghetti
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Boil the spaghetti according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the garlic in a large skillet with olive oil over medium heat until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Combine the cooked spaghetti with lemon juice and zest in the skillet; toss until well coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
Feel free to add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick or use any pasta type you love. For a vegan version, omit the Parmesan.
