Description

A bright and fresh lemon garlic pasta that can be whipped up in just 20 minutes, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the spaghetti according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic in a large skillet with olive oil over medium heat until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Combine the cooked spaghetti with lemon juice and zest in the skillet; toss until well coated.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Feel free to add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick or use any pasta type you love. For a vegan version, omit the Parmesan.
