- 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the broccoli into florets and steam them until just tender (about 5 minutes).
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Place the florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Using a fork or the bottom of a cup, gently smash each floret until flat.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, if using.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese during the last few minutes of baking if desired.
- Serve immediately as a snack or side dish.
Notes
Ensure that the broccoli florets are steamed just enough to be tender but still hold their shape. Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet; give the chips enough space to become crispy.
