Description

A quick and delicious creamy ranch chicken dish, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning.
  2. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat and brown the chicken on both sides.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the chicken broth and heavy cream to the same skillet, stirring to combine.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and let simmer on low heat for about 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Marinate the chicken overnight in ranch seasoning for extra flavor. Use a meat thermometer to check that the chicken is cooked to 165°F. Don’t rush the simmering process to allow flavors to blend perfectly.
