Description
A quick and delicious creamy ranch chicken dish, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning.
- In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat and brown the chicken on both sides.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the chicken broth and heavy cream to the same skillet, stirring to combine.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and let simmer on low heat for about 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Marinate the chicken overnight in ranch seasoning for extra flavor. Use a meat thermometer to check that the chicken is cooked to 165°F. Don’t rush the simmering process to allow flavors to blend perfectly.
