- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2–3 jalapeños, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with olive oil and season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear for 5-7 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and spread the cheese mixture evenly over each piece.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbling and golden.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
Notes
For a milder flavor, reduce the number of jalapeños or use mild peppers. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
