Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 1/2 cup chopped lettuce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: diced onions and bacon bits
Instructions
- Brown the beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; season with salt and pepper.
- Layer the cooked rice in bowls as the base.
- Add the cooked ground beef on top of the rice.
- Melt the shredded cheese slightly over the warmth of the beef.
- Follow with the diced tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce for crunch and flavor.
- Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the top.
- Sprinkle on optional diced onions and bacon bits for extra flavor. Serve immediately.
