Description

Delightful Cheeseburger Bowls combining all the savory goodness of a cheeseburger in a bowl, topped with fresh ingredients.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1/2 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: diced onions and bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; season with salt and pepper.
  2. Layer the cooked rice in bowls as the base.
  3. Add the cooked ground beef on top of the rice.
  4. Melt the shredded cheese slightly over the warmth of the beef.
  5. Follow with the diced tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce for crunch and flavor.
  6. Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the top.
  7. Sprinkle on optional diced onions and bacon bits for extra flavor. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can switch out the rice for quinoa or cauliflower rice for a healthier twist. This recipe is customizable with various toppings.
