Description

A simple yet indulgent Italian pasta dish featuring spaghetti, Pecorino Romano cheese, and cracked black pepper.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g spaghetti
  • 100g Pecorino Romano cheese, grated
  • Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (for boiling water)
  • Water (for boiling)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  4. Combine the grated Pecorino Romano cheese and freshly cracked black pepper in a large bowl.
  5. Add the drained spaghetti to the cheese mixture along with a splash of the reserved pasta water.
  6. Mix thoroughly, adding more pasta water as needed to achieve desired creaminess.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with extra cheese and cracked black pepper.

Notes

Use high-quality Pecorino Romano for the best flavor. Don’t skip reserving pasta water for a creamy sauce.
