Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Combine the grated Pecorino Romano cheese and freshly cracked black pepper in a large bowl.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the cheese mixture along with a splash of the reserved pasta water.
- Mix thoroughly, adding more pasta water as needed to achieve desired creaminess.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra cheese and cracked black pepper.
Notes
Use high-quality Pecorino Romano for the best flavor. Don’t skip reserving pasta water for a creamy sauce.
