- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix together the steamed broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
- Cut a pocket in each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Fill each pocket with the broccoli-cheddar mixture, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the stuffed chicken breasts until golden brown.
- Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
