Description

A classic comfort dish combining juicy chicken, savory ham, and rich Swiss cheese, all baked to crispy perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast, then roll them up tightly.
  4. Dredge each rolled chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Place the chicken rolls in a greased baking dish and spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
  7. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute breadcrumbs with crushed gluten-free crackers or almond flour.
