Description

Celebrate simple ingredients with this dish that blends savory Asian flavors and comforting roasted baby potatoes, featuring marinated steak bites and tender potatoes drizzled with flavorful goodness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Whisk them together until well combined.
  3. Add the steak pieces to the marinade and let them sit for 15 minutes, tossing to coat.
  4. Meanwhile, place the halved baby potatoes in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake the potatoes in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until tender and slightly crisp.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated steak, cooking until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Serve the steak bites alongside the roasted potatoes, garnished with fresh chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For added flavor, pair with steamed jasmine rice or a cucumber salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
