Description

Juicy salmon fillets simmered in a robust tomato garlic sauce with a hint of spice.


Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
  5. Cover the skillet and cook for about 7-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
