- 1 package cheese tortellini
- 4 strips of bacon, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream while stirring.
- Gradually add in the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the bacon; it should be crispy but not burnt. You can add spinach or peas for extra nutrients.
