Description

A quick and creamy cashew dip that’s dairy-free and packed with flavor, perfect for gatherings or a weeknight snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup raw cashews, soaked for 24 hours
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Drain your cashews and place them in a blender.
  2. Add water, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more water if necessary to reach desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or use in recipes as a cheese substitute.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. For longer storage, freeze in small portions for up to 3 months.
