Description

A cozy dessert combining the flavors of classic snickerdoodle cookies into a warm, gooey cobbler.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Ice cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Blend the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined, then fold in optional chopped nuts.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cobbler cool slightly before serving warm with ice cream.

Notes

Freshly ground cinnamon elevates the flavor. Don’t overmix for a tender texture.
