- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 cup protein powder (whey or plant-based)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a loaf pan.
- Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add the eggs, Greek yogurt, and honey (or maple syrup) to the mashed bananas; mix until well blended.
- Combine the whole wheat flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and protein powder in another bowl.
- Stir the dry mixture into the wet mixture gently until just combined; fold in optional nuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool the loaf in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Ensure bananas are well-ripened for maximum sweetness. Don’t over-mix the batter to avoid a dense loaf.
