Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons warm water
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.
- Mix the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Add yogurt and warm water; mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Cover and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into balls and roll each into a flatbread shape.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little butter.
- Place the naan in the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until bubbles form.
- Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden and lightly charred.
- Combine melted butter with minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Brush the garlic butter on the cooked naan and garnish with cilantro.
