Description

A delightful breakfast casserole combining crispy tater tots, hearty sausage, and creamy eggs, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of tater tots
  • 1 pound of breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped onions, bell peppers, or any desired vegetables

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Toss in any vegetables and sauté until soft.
  4. Whisk together the eggs and milk in a bowl; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Layer the tater tots evenly in a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  6. Pour the cooked sausage mixture over the tater tots.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and tater tots.
  8. Sprinkle the cheese evenly on top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and bubbly.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
