Description

Delightful tea sandwiches featuring cream cheese and cucumber, perfect for gatherings and tea parties.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill (optional)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped herbs (such as parsley or chives)

Instructions

  1. Spread cream cheese on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Layer thin slices of cucumber on half of the bread slices.
  3. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and fresh dill over the cucumbers.
  4. Spread mayonnaise and chopped herbs on the other half of the bread slices.
  5. Close the sandwiches by placing the cream cheese side over the mayo side.
  6. Cut the sandwiches into quarters or triangles.
  7. Serve immediately or cover with a damp cloth until serving.
