- 2 pounds peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 pound strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (for topping)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for topping)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (for topping)
- 12 Tablespoons salted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F so it’s nice and hot when your crumble is ready to bake!
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches and quartered strawberries. Add the fresh lemon juice, granulated sugar, and 3 tablespoons of flour. Toss gently to evenly distribute the ingredients.
- Transfer your beautifully mixed fruit filling into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
- In another bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Stir together until all ingredients are blended.
- Add the melted butter to the flour mixture. Use a fork to stir until the mixture is crumbly.
- Sprinkle your crumble topping generously over the fruit filling.
- Place your baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Once baked, take it out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve it warm.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an indulgent dessert. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
