Description

A delightful and refreshing quick bread that combines sweet strawberries and tart lemonade, perfect for summer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the chopped strawberries, lemonade, and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the quick bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
