Description

Delicious and crispy spinach puffs filled with a cheesy mixture, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté the minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  3. Wilt the chopped spinach in the skillet until cooked down.
  4. Combine the spinach, ricotta, feta, Parmesan, beaten egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and slice into squares.
  6. Fill each square with a generous spoonful of the spinach mixture.
  7. Fold the corners over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
  8. Place the puffs on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm after slightly cooling.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for crispiness.
