Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup celery, sliced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg noodles or rice, for serving
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, sliced carrots, sliced celery, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- Shred the beef with two forks and mix it with the vegetables.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.
Notes
Pair with crusty bread to soak up the sauce. The dish can also be customized with different vegetables.
