Description

A delightful twist on classic Rice Krispie treats, combining the flavors of chocolate, caramel, and coconut.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the caramel sauce and sweetened condensed milk, stirring until smooth.
  2. Combine the Rice Krispies, shredded coconut, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the caramel mixture over the cereal blend and stir gently to coat.
  4. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and stir in the vanilla extract. Drizzle over the cooled Rice Krispie mixture.
  6. Let the chocolate set for at least 30 minutes, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes
