Description

A warm and inviting dish featuring juicy chicken thighs coated in a sweet-salty miso glaze, roasted to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the miso paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until smooth.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then coat them with the miso mixture.
  4. Place the chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate chicken longer if possible. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is properly cooked.
