Description

Delightful Pistachio Bread with a creamy texture and nutty crunch, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 (15.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 2 (3.4 ounce) boxes instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/21 cup chopped pistachios
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract (for glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)
  • Milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix together the dry yellow cake mix and instant pistachio pudding mix.
  3. Add the eggs, vegetable oil, water, and sour cream, and mix until smooth.
  4. Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  5. Grease two loaf pans and sprinkle with the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  6. Evenly divide the batter between the two pans.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Remove from oven and cool in pans for about 10 minutes.
  9. Whisk together the ingredients for the glaze.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled loaves and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
  11. Slice and serve with friends!
