Description

Juicy chicken thighs infused with a delightful marinade, perfect for grilling and bringing friends and family together.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Skewers (soaked in water if wooden)
  • Optional: green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. Add the bite-sized chicken pieces to your marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for richer flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto your skewers.
  5. Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden and juicy.
  6. Serve hot off the grill, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Soaking wooden skewers in water prevents burning. Make extra marinade to use as a sauce for serving. Experiment with different proteins based on preference.
