Description
A delightful Orange Jam infused with warm spices, perfect for spreading on toast or adding to yogurt.
Ingredients

- 4 cups of oranges, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
- 1/2 cup of water
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the chopped oranges, sugar, lemon juice, and water. This brimming pot of orange goodness is just waiting to burst into flavor!
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, mixing occasionally.
- Stir in the spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
- Continue simmering until the jam thickens, about 30 more minutes.
- To test for doneness, place a spoonful on a cold plate and check if it holds its shape.
- Once thickened, pour the jam into sterilized jars and let it cool before sealing.
Notes
Make sure your jars are well-sterilized to prevent spoilage. Adjust spice levels to your preference.
