Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, and egg yolk until smooth.
- Press the flour mixture into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup to create a delicate crust.
- In another bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Spoon the pecan mixture generously into each crust.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the filling is set and golden.
- Let the pecan tassies cool before gently removing them from the tin.
