Description

Tender chicken breasts bathed in a luscious mushroom sauce with tangy Asiago cheese, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup asiago cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until tender, about 5-6 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, then mix in the asiago cheese until melted.
  6. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the sauce over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  8. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve.
