Description

A quick and wholesome weeknight meal featuring noodles, ground beef, and a medley of bold flavors from soy and hoisin sauces.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Brown the ground beef in the skillet until fully cooked, breaking it up as it cooks.
  4. Infuse with minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced bell pepper and cook until tender.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce and hoisin sauce, stirring to coat the beef and veggies.
  7. Combine the cooked noodles with the mixture in the skillet, tossing well.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then garnish with chopped green onions before serving!
