- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onions become translucent and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced kielbasa, allowing it to cook until browned and caramelized.
- Fold in the chopped cabbage, cooking until tender, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve hot from the skillet and enjoy!
