- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
- Sauté the ground beef and diced onion in the skillet until the beef is browned, ensuring to drain any excess fat afterwards.
- Prepare the heavy cream mixture by whisking together heavy cream, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Combine the cooked beef, crumbled bacon, and half of the cheddar cheese in a greased baking dish. Pour the egg mixture over the top.
- Bake the casserole for 25-30 minutes or until the mixture is set and firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and top with the remaining cheese. Bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
