- 2 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/4 cup hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and cut the russet potatoes into fry shapes.
- Toss the freshly cut fries with vegetable oil and Cajun seasoning.
- Spread the fries evenly on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar on top of the fries.
- Return fries to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Top with chopped green onions, sour cream, crumbled bacon, and hot sauce.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For maximum crispiness, cut fries uniformly and do not overcrowd the baking sheet.
